Answer:

f(x) = ( 3x + 5)/( 4x - 7) = y

3x + 5 = 4xy - 7y

3x - 4xy = -7y - 5

x(3 - 4y) = -7y - 5

x = -7y - 5 / 3 - 4y

now, 3 - 4y ≠  0 as denominator can't be 0

4y ≠  -3

y ≠  -3/4

range = R - { -3/4 }

From the given question the correct answer is :

range = R - { -3/4 }

Solution :

f(x) = ( 3x + 5)/( 4x - 7) = y

3x + 5 = 4xy - 7y

3x - 4xy = -7y - 5

x(3 - 4y) = -7y - 5

x = -7y - 5 / 3 - 4y

now, 3 - 4y ≠  0 as denominator can't be 0

4y ≠  -3

y ≠  -3/4

range = R - { -3/4 }
