9. The total cost of cultivating a rectangle field at * 1.50 per square metre is * 1833. If
the breadth of the field is 26 m. Find the cost of fencing the field at * 7.50 per meter.​

1833 rupees =1.50 Rs. area*

1833/1.50= area

area = 1222 msq

area of a field = l*b

1222= l*26

1222/26 = l

l= 47

to fencing

perimeter of a field = 2*(l+b)

=2*47+26

=2*73

=146 m

cost of fencing 146m at Rs. 7.50=146*7.50

= Rs. 1095
