Answer:

 r1 : r2 = 1 : √2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that ,there are two cones.

and there radius are r1 and r2 respectively.

And the ratio of their volume, V1 : V2  = 1 : 2

To find the ratio of their radius.

SOLUTION:-

We know that volume of the cone = \frac{\pi r^{2} h}{3}

As per question ,

V1 = \frac{\pi r1^{2}h }{3},   V2 = \frac{\pi r2^{2}h }{3}

So, V1 : V2 =  \frac{\pi r1^{2}h }{3} :  \frac{\pi r2^{2}h }{3}

       \frac{\pi r1^{2}h }{3} :   \frac{\pi r2^{2}h }{3} = 1 : 2

      r1² : r2² = 1 : 2

square root on both sides,

      r1 : r2 = 1 : √2

Therefore, the value of the the ratio of r1 : r2 = 1 : √2

THANKS.
