manner that the number of rows is equal to number of columns. How many

Total no. of rows=Total no. of columns

No. of rows × No. of columns = total children = 500

No. of rows =√500

=22

Therefore No. of columns=22

No. of children left = 500-(22×22)

= 500-484

= 16

There are 22 rows and 22 columns and 16 children are left out...
