9. There are two types of boxes containing
apples. Each box of the larger type contains 8 more
apples than 10 times the number of apples in the
boxes of the smaller type. Eoch larger box contains
88 apples. Find the number of apples contained in

now, equating both eqn, we will get

10x = 80

x = 80/10

x = 8

since, x is equal to 8 therefore no. of apples in smaller box is 8.
