There are three Components of Maps – distance, direction and symbol.

direction:-Direction is the way that you have to travel to get from one place or object to another place or object.
symbol:-A map symbol is a graphical device used to visually represent a real-world phenomenon or a characteristic there of on a map, working in the same fashion as other forms of symbols.
