Answer:

The Three consecutive integers are

: 5 ,6 and 7

Given :

➛we are given three consecutive integers .

➛when they are taken in increasing order

and multiplied by 2, 3, and 4 respectively,

they add up to 56.

To Find:

The three consecutive integers.

Solution:

we are given three consecutive integers .

➛when they are taken in increasing order

and multiplied by 2, 3, and 4 respectively,

they add up to 56.

Let , the three consecutive integers be a , ( a+1 ) and ( a+2 ).

According to given condition,

➞2a + 3( a+1 ) + 4( a+2 ) = 56

➞2a + 3a + 3 + 4a + 8 = 56

➞9a + 11 = 56

➞9a = 56 - 11

➞9a = 45

➞a = 45 / 9

a = 5

Therefore, the three consecutive integers are

➡a = 5

➡a+1 = 5 + 1 = 6

➡a+2 = 5 + 2 = 7

The three consecutive integer numbers are 5, 6 and 7
