 {9}^{x + 2}  =  ({243 \times 3})^{x}  \\  ({3}^{2})^{x + 2}  =  { ({3}^{6} })^{x}  \\  {3}^{2x + 2}  =  {3}^{6x}

When the bases are same, the powers are equal.

2x + 2 = 6x \\ 6x - 2x = 2 \\ 4x = 2 \\ x =   \frac{2}{4} \\ x =  \frac{1}{2}
