Then in 12mt one pipe will fill 12/x and another will fill 12/y

12/x+12/y=1

It is also given

x=2y-10

12/(2y-10) +12/y=1

After simplifying

2y^2-46y+120=0

y^2-23y+60=0

(y-20)(y-3)=0

This gives

y=20, and y=3

y=3, not possible because that would give x value negative

Substitute y=20 in the above equation you will get x=30
