WATER: THE SOURCE OF ALL LIFE :-
Water is the source of all life, the most important liquid in our ecosystem – all plants, insects and animals, including you!, cannot survive without it. It is important that we are mindful of water's power, and that we remember to care for this pure, sacred substance. We encourage you all to conserve water as much as possible, but it‘s also about choosing the right products that won’t harm our water systems.
When you take a shower, when you wash your face, or when you brush your teeth, the products you use go down the drain and into our water system. If these products contain harmful chemicals, the chemicals contaminate the water that Mother Nature needs to flourish. This disrupts our ecological system. Think about it – if a plant drinks contaminated water, an animal will eat the contaminated plant. If a fish swims in contaminated waters, we (humans) will eat the contaminated fish, which can lead to serious diseases.
We created Rahua to help keep our waters clean. When Rahua formulas wash down the drain, the plant-powered ingredients absorb into our waters and become nutrients for all types of life. We use natural and organic ingredients because we care deeply for our planet’s health, and for yours!
Here are some simple tips to conserve clean water:
- Filter Your Tap Water
Use a filtered water bottle or a filtered water pitcher. This helps to limit the clean water that is being taken directly from fresh water sources, before it had the chance to nurture life. Water bottle companies take water directly the spring, cutting the cycle short before it can get to plants and animals.
- Use Non-Toxic Personal Care Products like Rahua!
- Use Non-Toxic House-Hold Products
Use Non-Toxic House-Hold ProductsReplace your cleaning supplies and your laundry detergent with clean alternatives. If you need to use chemical based house products, make sure they don’t go down the drain. Dispose of cleaning solvents, pool chemicals, paints, insecticides in the trash instead of down the drain.
