αnswer :-

~The factors that make sounds different from each other are called characteristics of sounds. These factors are loudness, pitch and quality .

Loudness :

Loudness of the sound produced by a vibrating object depends on the amplitude of vibration. Loudness is proportional to the square of amplitude.

Pitch :

Pitch is the measure of how low or high a sound is. A shrill sound has higher pitch than a dull sound. The higher the frequency , the more the high pitched sound.

Quality :

Most vibrating objects do not generate sound of just one frequency. They also simultaneously generate sounds of other frequencies. Thus, the quality of a sound is determined by the frequencies present in it and relative loudness.
