- In the poem "Another Woman" written by Imtiaz Dharker, the title "Another Woman" implies "yet another woman" being prone to poisonous behaviour which brings her distress and hardship. Yet another woman thinks that killing herself is more satisfactory than confronting brutality and cruelty by her own family.
- Although the poet discusses the story of one woman in the poem however he wants to express the following points:
- The coercion faced by women in society.
- Harshness faced by the women,
- Delinquency faced by women.
- He with the support of his poem strives to bring consciousness about some women's awful living circumstances into the minds of the readers.
