Since, we know area of a rectangle=length×breadth

1)If its length is doubled and breadth is halved, the area remains same.

2) If its length is doubled and breadth remains the same, then the area becomes twice that of the original one.

3) If its length and breadth both are doubled, then its area becomes 4 times of the original one.
