When a pair of identical resistors are connected in series, which of the following is the same for
both resistors :
(a) voltage across each (b) current through each.
Do any of your answer changes if resistors are different from each other ?

Solution,

In series combination of resistors, the current throughout each and every resistor is same while the voltage across each resistor divides. The equivalent resistance in this case is equal to the sum of individual resistances i.e.

R_{eq}=R_1+R_2+....

So, the correct option is (b) "current through each is same".

If the resistors are different from each other, then also the current remains the same.
