i) daughters age = x

4 times daughter's age = 4x

4 less than that = 4x - 4

Rita's age = 4x - 4

ii) 100×a + 10×b + 1×c

= 100a + 10b + c

iii) equal sides are of length = p cm each

unequal side= q cm.

perimeter = sum of the sides

= p + p + q

= 2p + q

iv) to convert from m/s to km/h multiply with 18/5

= z × 18/5

= 18z/5

v) cost of shoe = x

5 times cost if shoe = 5x

200 more than that

= 5x + 200
