Hi there !!

Given,
To factorise

9(x + y)² - x²

It can be noticed that the numbers resemble to the identity ie, a² - b² = (a + b)(a + b)

So,

(3(x + y)) {}^{2}  - (x) {}^{2}

 = (3(x + y) - x)(3(x + y) + x

 = (3x + 3y - x)(3x + 3y + x)

Thus,
the answer is

(2x + 3y)(4x - 3y)
