Answer:

9-(x-y) = y+7

9x-9y = y+7

9x-8y = 7

9x-8y-7 = 0

2(x+y) = 4-3y

2x+2y = 4-3y

2x+5y = 4

2x+5y-4 = 0

Answer:

x = 2 , y = 0

Solution:

Here,

The given equations are :

9 - (x - y) = y + 7 -------(1)

2(x + y) = 4 - 3y --------(2)

From eq-(1) , we have ;

=> 9 - (x - y) = y + 7

=> 9 - x + y = y + 7

=> 9 - 7 = x + y - y

=> 2 = x

=> x = 2

Now,

Putting x = 2 in eq-(2) , we get ;

=> 2(2 + y) = 4 - 3y

=> 4 + 2y = 4 - 3y

=> 2y + 3y = 4 - 4

=> 5y = 0

=> y = 0/5

=> y = 0

Hence,

x = 2 , y = 0
