Hey friend!

Answer: 15 years

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Paul's age be × years

A/Q

Sharon's age :-

Y+9=18

Y=9

Now, according to the question,after 6 years, sum of their age will be 71.

.°. 9 + 6 + × + 6 = 71

15 + 6 + × = 71

× = 71 - 21

× = 50

.•. age of Paul = 50 years.

Verification:-

15 + × + 6 = 71

15 + 50 + 6= 71

71 = 71

Hope it helps❣️❤️

Yo!
Your Answer.

9 years from now Sharon age will be 18 years.

So,
Sharon + 9 = 18

Sharon = 18 - 9

Sharon = 9 years

Let Paul's age be = x years

=>6 years from now their sum of ages be = 71 years.

So,
A/Q

Sharon + 6 + Paul + 6 = 71

9 + 6 + x + 6 = 71

x + 21 = 71

x = 71 - 21

x = 50

So, Age of Paul = 50 years.
