This means it is produced with little-to-no environmental impact and does not dispense greenhouse gases into the air that contribute to global warming, the way fossil fuels do.We can use energy which is friendly for the enviroment like solar energy,wind energy,hydro energy,tidal energy,geothermal energy,Biomass energy,etc. In a greener, healthier world, we would conserve more, use the energy we have more wisely and efficiently, and rely only on sources of energy that are clean, renewable and leave less environmental damage in their wake.Examples of renewable energy sources: wind, solar, biomass, geothermal, and small hydropower.

Examples of carbon-free energy sources: larger hydropower and nuclear as well as all renewable energy resources listed above.

Examples of fossil fuel energy sources: natural gas, coal and oil.

STEPS TOWARDS CLEAN AND GREEN ENERGY-
