Given :-

  • Number of square tiles to pave the floor = 9000.
  • Size of the square tile = 20 cm.

To Find :-

  • Area of the floor of the hall in sq metre.

Solution :-

Size of the square tile is 20 cm.

Now,

Converting cm to m :-

➩  1 cm = 1/100 m

➩  20 cm = 20/100 m

➩  1/5 m.

So,

Area of one tile :-

➩  1/5 × 1/5

➩  1/25 m²

Area of 9000 tiles :-

➩  9000/25

➩  360 m²

∴ Area of the floor of the hall = 360 m²
