Answer:

1. 300rs

2. 8 calculators

3. 18 days

4. 520 km

5. 675 Rs.

Explanation:

1. the cost of 28 pens = 420 rs

the cost of one pen = 15 rs

the cost of 20 pens = 15 ×20= 300 rs

2. At ₹690 Rajeev bought 6 calculators

At ₹1 Rajeev bought 6/690 calculators

At ₹920 Rajeev bought 6/690*920=8 calculators.

3. As it is a case of direct variation so

Take no. Of days he had to work to get rupees 1290 as x

Then,

860/12 = 1280/x

X =1548/86

x= 18

4. 7 litres of petrol=280 km

1 litre of petrol =280/7

=40km

13 litres of petrol=13×40

=520km

5. 8kg = 360

15kg. x.?

15 x 360 / 8=45x15 = 675

Cost of 15kg of sugar Rs 675
