Using Newton’s equation of motion, at the end of first 10 seconds, we have

x=12a(10)2=50a

and

v=a(10)=10a

In the end of next 10 seconds, we have

y=10a(10)+12a(10)2

=100a+50a=150a

Hence, y=3x .
