Given :

Distance covered = 1000 cm

Time taken (T) = 10 sec

Amplitude (A) = 1 cm

To Find :

The Frequency of the oscillation

Solution :

Let 'A' be the amplitude.

We know,

The distance covered in each oscillation = 4A

                                                                      = 4 × 1

                                                                      = 4 cm

In 10 seconds, the body covered a distance of 1000 cm

In 1 second, the the body will cover \frac{1000}{10} cm

                                                        = 100 cm

No. of oscillation in one second = \frac{100}{4}  = 25

Therefore, Frequency of the oscillating particle is 25 oscillations/second
