Here, we shall use the (a+b)^2 formula
then, we can write (97)^2 in this form..
(100-3)^2 =(100)^2 + (3)^2 -2×100×3
(100-3)^2 = 10000 + 9 - 600
(100-3)^2 = 10009-600
(100-3)^2 = 9409 is your answer ..

WE CAN WRITE
(97)2 = (100-3)2

(A-B)2 = a2-2ab+b2
(100-3)2 = (100)2 - 2*100*3 +(3)2
(100-3)2 = 10000 - 600 + 9
(100-3)2 = 10009 - 600
(100-3)2 = 94009
