Hey Buddy
Here's The Answer
-------------------------------------------------
Firstly we construct a perpendicular line on BC , mark it as O.
NOTE :- REFFER THE ATTACHMENT FOR NAMING
So, Firstly we'll find AO by using ∆ AOC
We know
==> Sin ∅ = P/H
=> Sin ∅ = AO / AC
=> Sin 30° = AO / a
=> 1 / 2 = A0 / a
=> AO = a / 2
Now we'll find x by using ∆ AOD
==> Sin ∅ = P/H
=> Sin ∅ = AO / x
=> Sin 60° = ( a / 2 ) / x
=> √3 / 2 = ( a / 2 ) / x
=> x = ( a / 2 ) / ( √3 / 2 )
=> x = a / √ 3
So, option a / √3 is the correct answer
Hope it Helps
