Answer: 3.85m is the answer.

Explanation:

SO ZERO FIELD LOCATION IS A POINT WHERE ELECTRIC FIELD DUE TO BOTH 9C AND 16C IS EQUAL.

ELECTRIC FIELD(E)=kq/d²

where d=distance between two charges

           k=1/4πε₀=9×10⁹

  ⊕9C----------x--------∅-------d-x-------⊕16C

SO E∝q/r² ===>E₁=E₂===>q₁/r₁²=q₂/r₂²

==>9/x²=16/(d-x)²

==>9/x²=16/(9-x)²

after solving we get 3/x=4/9-x==>27-3x=4x==>x=27/7=3.85m

HOPE IT HELPS YOU...........

THANK YOU.
