Is the diagram of the quadrilateral.

In right angled triangle,
By Pythagoras theorem
(BD)2 = (AB)2 + (AD)2
BD = (18)2 + (24)2
BD = 30

Area of triangle DBC = 1/2*b*h
= 1/2*40*30
= 600 m/square

Area of triangle ABD = 1/2*b*h
= 1/2*18*24
= 216 m/square

Area of quadrilateral ABCD = Area of triangle ABD + Area of triangle DBC
= 216+600
= 816 m/square

rachudadhwal07: (BD)2 doesn't means that it should be multiplied with 2
rachudadhwal07: but it should be multiplied 2 times (BD*BD)
