it is given that , $9^{(x+1)}=720+9^x$

as you know, a^(m + n) = a^m. a^n

so, 9^(x + 1) = 9^x . 9^1

now $9^x.9^1=720+9^x$

Let 9^x = P

then, 9P = 720 + P

or, 8P = 720

or, P = 720/8 = 90

now, P = 9^x = 90

taking log base 9 both sides,

$log_99^x=log_9(90)$

we know, $log_a(a^x)=x$

or, $x=log_9(90)$

hence, value of x will be $x=log_9(90)$
