3x-4y=2............(2)

Multiply (2) by 3,

9x-12y=6...........(3)

Subtracting 3 from 1,

y=1/22

substitute (y=1/22) in 1,

9x+10×1/22=7

x=7-5/11

x=73/99

Therefore, (x,y)=(73/99,1/22)
