So to find x and y there are three methods and I'm doing from one of the methods

9x - 2y = 23

2x - 9y = -5

First add the two equation

11x+11y = 18

Then subtract two equation

7x -7y = 28

7(x-y) = 28

x-y = 28/7

x-y= 4

Then By elimination method we can find the value of x and y

11 x + 11 y = 18

x - y = 4

You need to make either x or y same numbers

For that you need to multiply the second equation with 11

11 x + 11 y = 18

11x - 11y = 44

22 x = 62

x = 62 /22

x = 2.8

y = 1.2

I don't know if this is correct
