Answer:

multiplying eq 1 by 3 and eq 2 by 9

We get

27x-15y=6

27x-36y=90

27x is eliminated on subtracting both the equations

21y=-84

y=-84/21

y=-4

put the value of y in eq 1

9x-5y=2

9x-5*-4=2

9x+20=2

9x=2-20

9x=-18

x=-18/9

x=-2
