Given - 9x-7/3x+5=3x-4/x+6

Find - Solve to find x

Solution - On solving the equation, value of x will be 0.5

To solve the equation for value of x, we will be performing cross multiplication.

(9x - 7)(x + 6) = (3x - 4)(3x + 5)

Performing multiplication by multiplying the brackets in each side.

9x² + 54x - 7x - 42 = 9x² + 15x - 12x - 20

9x² will be removed as on subtraction the value it will give is zero.

So, now the equation will be -

54x - 7x - 42 = 15x - 12x - 20

Now, performing subtraction on each side between the values containing x.

So, new equation after subtraction will be-

47x - 42 = 3x - 20

Now, exchanging values on L.H.S and R.H.S., to further solve the equation. Thus, new equation will be -

47x - 3x = 42 - 20

Performing subtraction-

44x = 22

Performing division to find value of x-

x = 22/44

x = 1/2

x = 0.5

So, on solving the equation, value of x is 0.5
