Mate I think it will

\ {9x^2+18x+8}

\underline{Solution:-}

\ {=>9x^2+12x+6x+8}

\ {=>3x(3x+4) +2(3x+4)}

\ {=>(3x+4)(3x+2)}

\ {=>(3x+4)=0 or (3x+2)=0}

\ {X= -4/3 or X= -2/3}

•°• Value of the X will be \ {-4/3\: or -2/3}

9x² + 18x + 8

________ [GIVEN EQUATION]

• We have to find the factors of it.

_______________________________

9x² + 18x + 8

The above equation is in the form ax² + bx + c.

So.. we have to find the the numbers whose sum is b and product is c.

12 and 6 are the correct numbers because sum of 12 and 6 is 18 which is b and product of 12 and 6 is 72 which is c.

=> 9x² + 12x + 6x + 8 = 0

=> 3x (3x + 4) +2 (3x + 4) = 0

=> (3x + 2) (3x + 4) = 0

• 3x + 2 = 0

=> 3x = - 2

=> x = \dfrac{-2}{3}

• 3x + 4 = 0

=> 3x = - 4

=> x = \dfrac{-4}{3}

______________________________

x = \dfrac{-2}{3} and \dfrac{-4}{3}
