\huge\bold\purple{Answer:-}

Percentage of boron in the sample= 0.096/0.24 × 100 = 40%

and,

Percentage of oxygen in the sample= 0.144/0.24 × 100= 60%

Hence, the sample of compound contains 40% boron and 60% oxygen by mass.

Hope it helps...:-)

Answer: 60% of oxygen and 40% of boron

given: (1).compound of oxygen+boron-0.24g...(2).boron-0.096g...(3).oxygen-0.144g

solution:A sample compound of oxygen and boron= 0.24g

in which boron=0.096g/0.24g multiplied by 100=40%

whereas oxygen=0.144g/0.24g multiplied by 100=60%

hence,the composition of compound by it's weight is boron=40% and oxygen= 60%

hope it'ill help..
