Step-by-step explanation:

Gven:-

A={1,2,3,4,5},B={2,4,6,8,10}

To find:-

find A delta B(A∆B).

Solution:-

Given sets are A={1,2,3,4,5} and

B={2,4,6,810}

We know that A∆B=(A-B)U(B-A)=(AUB)-(AnB)

1)A∆B=(A-B)U(B-A):-

A-B={1,2,3,4,5}-{2,4,6,8,10}

A-B={1,3,5}

B-A={2,4,6,8,10}-{1,2,3,4,5}

B-A={6,8,10}

now,(A-B)U(B-A)

={1,3,5}U(6,8,10}

={1,3,5,6,8,10}

A∆B={1,3,5,6,8,10}

(or)

2)A∆B=(AUB)-(AnB):-

AUB={1,2,3,4,5}U{2,4,6,8,10}

={1,2,3,4,5,6,8,10}

AnB={1,2,3,4,5}n{2,4,6,8,10}

={2,4}

A∆B=(AUB)-(AnB)

={1,2,3,4,5,6,8,10}-{2,4}

A∆B={1,3,5,6,8,10}

Answer:-

A∆B={1,3,5,6,8,10}
