a 1.4kW heater is used to heat up 1.0kg of water. it takes 2 minutes to raise the temperature by 40 degrees celcius. assuming there are no heat losses, how long would it take to raise the temperature of 2.0kg of water by 15 degrees celcius? (using the same heater)

Answer:

for the same heater..we know 4200 J for 1kg for 1 degree celcius..for 2kg 8400..and for 15 then 126000 J is required..so 90 seconds
