A 1.5 kg mass swings in vertical circle with radius .75 meters. Find the tension in the string at the lowest point of the vertical circle if the mass has a speed of 6 m/s at that point.

Fnet= 78N

at the lowest point situation is shown above.

Also at that point,

Fnet= ma

T-mg= mv^2/r

T= mg+mv^2/r

T=(15/10)×10+1.5×6×6/.75

T= 15+72

T= 78N
