⇒ a3 + 1/a3 + √3 = √3 [from Eq. (i)]

⇒ a3 + 1/a3 = 0

⇒ ( a6 + 1 ) /a3 = 0

⇒ a6 + 1 = 0 x a3

⇒ a6 + 1 = 0

⇒ a6 = -1

∴ a6 - 1/a6 =1-(1/-1) =1+1=2
