a + 1/a = 3 
cubing on both sides
 ( a + 1/a ) ^3 = 27
a^3 + 1/a^3 + 3 (a + 1 /a) = 27 
a^3 + 1/a^3 = 27 - 9 = 18
( a^3 + 1/a^3 ) ^3 = 18^3) 
a^6 + 1/a^6 + 3( 18 ) =5832
a^6 + 1/a^6 = 5832 - 54 = 5778
