Question :- A car travels with initial velocity of 30m/s for 20minutes with final velocity for 50m/s. How far does it travel?
Given : u = 30m/s t = 20min v = 50m/s
Solution :
To find the distance we need acceleration,
So,
a = (v-u)/t
= (50-30)/20
= 20/20
= 1 m/s²
Now,
s = ut+½at²
= (30*20) + (½*1*20*20)
= 600 + 200
= 800m
Hence, the car will travel 800m.
