1/v + 1/u = 1/f

By the question

f = - 15 cm

u = - 10 cm

A) 1/v = 1/f - 1/u

= -1/15 -(-1/10)

= -1/15 + 1/10

= -2 + 3 /30

= 1/30

1/v = 1/30

v = +30 cm

B) m= - v/u = -30/-10 = 3 cm

C) The image is virtual, erect and enlarged.
