Given:

d(A,B) =4.7 cm

d(A,C)=15.6 cm

find d(B,C)=?

Now

d(A,C) = d(A,B) + d(B,C)

15.6 = 4.7 + d(B,C)

d(B,C) = 15.6 - 4.7

d(B,C) = 10.9cm

Proportional figure are in attachment.

Hence the value of  d(B,C) is 10.9 cm
