A 10 , a 15, and a 5 resistor are connected in series across a 90V battery. What is the voltage used by the 15 resistor?

Explanation:

total resistance= 5 +10+15= 30 ohms

current remains same because they are in series.

current= 90/30 = 3 ampere

voltage across 15 ohms = 15×3= 45V
