Stature of object= 10 cm Focal length = 12 cm
Object remove = - 18cm Image distance= ?cm
So, 1/v + 1/u = 1/f 1/v= 1/12-1/18 1/v=3/36-2/36 1/v=1/36 v=36cm
Now m=36/ - 18 m=-2 Nature of picture:-
1. image is virtual and erect.
2. it is shaped behind the focal point. 3.it is decreased in size. 4.it can't caught on screen.
