- u = -20 cm
Find :-
- distance of image from focal length (v)
- Nature of image
Explanation
Using Formula
Now, keep above Values
==> 1/30 = 1/v - 1/(-20)
==> 1/v = 1/30 -1/20
==> 1/v = (20-30)/600
==> 1/v = -10/600
==> 1/v = -1/60
==> v = - 60 cm
Since,
- Distance of image from focal length be = 60 cm
Nature of image
Here, Distance sign of image is Negative,
That's means it is on same side on lens as the object and it is a real image.
