A 10 gram bullet travelling at 200 m/sec strikes and remains embedded in a 2 kg target which is originally at rest but free to move .at what speed does the target move off

m¹=10gm,m²=2kg, u¹=200m/sec,u²=0
we have to find v...

m¹u¹+m²u²=v(m¹+m²)
0.01×200+2×0=v(0.01+2)
note I have converted 10gm into kg ...

now you calculate and find your ans
