Answer:

Your answer is 5.5

Step-by-step explanation:

10% rise of Rs 110 = 110 × 0.1

= 11

= 11so cost of 2 kg rice = Rs 11

= 11so cost of 2 kg rice = Rs 11increased cost of rice = 11/2

= Rs. 5.5

= Rs. 5.5original cost = 5.5 / 1.1 = 5.0

Let y kg of rice rate xxy

= 110(1.1x)(y – 2)

= 1101.1xy – 2.2x

= 110121 – 2.2x

= 1102.2x = 11x

= 11/2.2

= 5 original price/kincreased price = 5.0 × 1.1 = 5.5
