Answer:

V2=60km/hr

Explanation:

Since first half distance and final half distance are equal to eachother. we use formula equating distance.

Given average velocity ( V)= 40 km/ hr

velocity in first half distance ( V1)= 30 km/ hr

Velocity in next half distance ( V2)= ?

Now using the formula ,

average velocity (V) =  2V1V2/(V1+V2)

40=2×30×V2/(30+V2)

12 0 0+40V2=60V2

20V2=120 0

V2=60km/hr
