Given average velocity ( V)= 40 km/ hr
velocity in first half distance ( V1)= 30 km/ hr
Velocity in next half distance ( V2)= ?
Now using the formula ,
average velocity (V) = 2V1V2/(V1+V2)
40=2×30×V2/(30+V2)
12 0 0+40V2=60V2
20V2=120 0
V2=60km/hr
