Mass of ball , m = 10 kg

Height from where the ball was dropped ,h = 5m/s

Initial velocity of ball ,u = 0 m/s

Acceleration ,g = 10 m/s sq.

Kinetic enery of the ball , k.E = ?

Final velocity , v = ?

So, v sq. - u sq. = 2gh

V sq. - 0 sq. = 2 × 10 × 5

V sq. = 100

V = 10

K.E = 1/2 m v sq.

= 1/2 × 10 × 10 ×10

= 500 J
