A 10 meter long ladder is placed against a wall of a building. The foot of the ladder is 6 meter away from the bottom of the building. How high against the wall does the ladder reach?

Hypotenuse = 10 m

Base = 6m

Perpendicular =?

p {}^{2}  = h {}^{2}  - b {}^{2}

Putting value

P^2 =(10)^2 - (6)^2

P^2 = 100 - 36

P^2 = 64

P= 8 m
